I was so excited to arrange the wedding flowers for my beautiful sister-in-law Liz.

She has always been a fan of bright colours, so choosing a colour palette for her wedding to Richard was easy. Coral peonies sat alongside bright hydrangeas, roses, snapdragons, delphiniums and pinwheels, accented with vivid green peppercorn, ivy and oak.

Liz's bouquet incorporated oak leaves from a giant tree in the backyard of her childhood home, and we swapped out a ribbon finish for a vintage lace handkerchief topped with a pin that belonged to her great-grandfather. Her bridesmaids carried vibrant posies tied with long, streaming ribbons.

The couple married in a garden ceremony in front of a giant floral wreath and then celebrated with a relaxed dinner on the lawn at Canberra's Ivy & The Fox.
