EMMA & CAMERON
Emma and Cameron's wedding was all about embracing the natural beauty of the Hunter Valley.
They tied the knot in front of a giant wreath arbour nestled in the eucalypt grove at Wandin Valley Estate, and celebrated their reception with loved ones in the Cricketers Pavilion.
The flowers for the day featured a bevy of Australian and South African native plants, including proteas, leucadendrons, wax flower, eucalyptus, tea tree and pale pink bottlebrush. Native flowers often have a reputation for being tough or rustic, but the bride and bridesmaids' bouquets prove that in the right combinations they can also create a softer, more romantic effect. This was easily one of my favourite flower combinations of the year!
Guest tables at the reception were decorated with simple arrangements in clusters of glass bottles, while giant floral chandeliers floated overhead.
